Hetherington‘s Tamara Woods is proud to be speaking today at the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) in Sydney.
Tamara Woods will be interviewed by Immediate Past Chair at Women In Mining NSW, Michelle Lawson, discussing Mentoring and Professional Development as a Retention Strategy.
The Department of Regional NSW – Division of Mining, Exploration and Geoscience has recently introduced changes to community consultation requirements. Rather than submitting community consultation reports annually, along with other title reporting requirements, holders must now make this information publicly available, in an effort to improve access to information and enhance transparency with the public. These changes present an opportunity for titleholders to review their community consultation practices and strategy, to ensure their compliance prior to the end of the transitional period.

It was a pleasure for Hetherington‘s Ben Muscat and Sarah Fox to attend the NSW Minerals Council End of Year Celebration in Sydney last week. It was great to hear from Stephen Galilee, Chief Executive and Director on all that NSW’s Mineral Council has achieved for the State’s mineral industry this year and reflect on this with its members as we also look ahead to what 2023 will hold.
