SARA WINTON | Senior Managing Consultant/Senior Associate Solicitor

Sara joined Hetherington in April 2020 and is an Executive Managing Consultant located in our Perth Hetherington office. Sara is a qualified lawyer, with over 7 years’ experience in tenement management.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to moving to Perth in 2013 to be a tenement consultant, she worked in private practice as a paralegal and then a solicitor in Sydney and regional NSW.

Sara has vast experience across all aspects of tenement management and compliance from applications for new tenure to reporting, caveats, mortgages, renewals and Native Title. She is also very experienced in stakeholder negotiations, Mining Act objections and proceedings in the Warden’s Court.

Sara has also worked with a diverse range of tenement portfolios from junior explorers to large mining companies and takes great pride in providing expert advice to ensure all compliance requirements are met and facilitate commercial outcomes in all matters relating to mineral tenure.
